I-Explore Week is a campus-wide celebration of academic and career discovery hosted by the The Career Center and the Division of Exploratory Studies. Held each fall—most recently September 29 to October 4, 2025—the week brings together events, experts, and experiences designed to help exploring students make informed, confident decisions about their next steps.
Throughout the week, exploration happens everywhere. From sustainability-focused sessions like Majors That Save the Planet to wisdom-packed panels like Moms the Word featuring Illinois parents, I-Explore Week brings a wide mix of events designed to meet students wherever their curiosity leads. Pop-up workshops, themed talks, hands-on activities, and career-focused sessions—led by faculty, advisors, campus partners, and professionals—offer practical insight on majors, careers, strengths, and next steps.
I-Explore Week serves as a choose-your-own-adventure schedule built to spark ideas, widen horizons, and help students make confident, informed decisions about what comes next.
